

Throughout his career, and even after, Derek Jeter never followed glory. In fact, greatness followed the disciplined, competitive, and determined Yankees captain Derek Jeter. Today, even after his retirement, the former Captain Clutch is one of the richest retired players in American sports crediting his various business ventures with a net worth surpassing $200 million. Among his many business ventures is the clothes and apparel brand Greatness Wins, which he co-founded along with UNTUKit founder, Chris Riccobono. Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and ballerina Misty Copeland.
Earlier this month, Greatness Wins officially signed their first student-athlete, and it was none other than reigning Big Ten Player of the Year, Blake Corum, who represents the University of Michigan as a running back and is preparing to make his comeback after spending the majority of 2022 on the bench due to a knee injury.

Derek Jeter’s scouted talent for Greatness Wins prepares to make his college football return:
Blake Corum, who’s worn Jeter’s number two his entire life, signed a landmark NIL deal with Greatness Wins earlier this month, redefining the path of his eventual pro-football career. The running back is all set to make his return to the University of Michigan roster after playing only 12 games and sitting out for the rest of 2022 due to a knee injury.

While talking about his signing with Greatness Wins, and his adoration for Jeter, the running back said, “After wearing the number 2 for my whole life because of Derek Jeter, it feels surreal to be working alongside him and the Greatness Wins team in this new chapter, as I head into my last season of college football.”
In the 12 games Corum played, he recorded stunning numbers, rushing 1,463 yards and 18 touchdowns before becoming Michigan’s first unanimous All-American running back since 1947.

Derek Jeter, who also started his journey to pro baseball with the University of Michigan, had long words of praise for the Michigan football star. “Blake’s talent, work ethic, resiliency and integrity make him an exceptional athlete and great teammate.
