When Jennifer Lopez Reacted to a Savage Instagram Post During Her Breakup With Alex Rodriguez Causing Fans to Take Notice

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were together for 4 years and were among the most loved celebrity couples while dating. But in April 2021, they shocked fans and followers all over the world by announcing their breakup. Notably, Rodriguez and Lopez announced their split in a joint statement.

They stated that they’d remain friends and work together even after splitting. This made the breakup seem mutual and on a good note. But during the breakup process, JLo made it clear how she felt by reacting to a savage social media post. This seemed to be directed at A-Rod.

But the pop icon quickly put those beliefs to rest when she reacted to an Instagram post. Lopez liked the post shortly after breaking up with A-Rod in what seemed like a dig at him.

In the post, the quote said, “don’t make her think you care when you have never given a fuck about her”. In the caption, r.h. Sin said, “Don’t let them manipulate you. How many times have you been told ” I love you ” by someone who has continued to treat you like shit?”

Fans took notice of JLo liking the Instagram post and shattering the illusion of a peaceful breakup. Sources stated that the couple had been contemplating breaking up for some time before the eventual split. The COVID lockdown took a huge toll on their relationship and brought up several problems. Although the breakup ended in heartbreak, both Rodriguez and Lopez have since moved on from it.

Jennifer Lopez was the first to move on from the breakup and started dating Ben Affleck. She eventually married Affleck in July 2022 and they are happily married even today. Alex Rodriguez, on the other hand, took a while to start dating again. But he is currently dating fitness guru Jaclyn Cordeiro and the two seem to be happy together.
