“What the Hell Have These Two Won Together?”: Fans Left Incensed as Two of New York Yankees’ Shot-Callers Get a Special Invite

MLB’s franchise New York Yankees is, without a doubt, one of the oldest and most outstanding teams in the sport’s history. Although the Yankees have the most World Series titles in MLB, they have failed to win anything big in the last 10-15 years. With their last success in 2009, the Yankees are facing a bit of a slump. Consequently, the team’s management, i.e., Brian Cashman and manager Aaron Boone, have been highly criticized by the team’s fan base. 

Under Cashman’s tenure as the GM of the franchise, the Yanks won only one World Series in 2009. Whereas, under Boone’s leadership, the Bronx Bombers have only reached the World Series but never won. Thus, the fanbase has remained transparent that they want significant changes in management if the team still wants to win some world series. And now, according to a recent announcement, Cashman and Boone will be appearing in a conversation with Brandon Steiner about how to build a winning team. As expected, the fanbase came back at it once again, slamming Boone and Cashman.

To say that the Yankees fans are angry would be an understatement. They did not miss pointing out how people who haven’t won any championships in years talk about building a winning team. 

Following are some of the reactions of baseball fans toward Cashman and Boone’s upcoming talk show.

One of the users on Facebook wrote, “Now THAT’S funny!! What has this combo ever won?” while others wrote, “Maybe have someone who has won something in less 14 years speak about winning.”, “What the hell have these two won together???” and “Should be called how to follow analytics and keep losing.”

Meanwhile, some of the users said, “Get rid of both of them and then watch the winning start,” They have been the losers too many times for us.”,” 2 of the 3 stooges”, and “Maybe their looking for a “ how to“ book. So far they haven’t found it.”

Notably, the fans aren’t happy with the upcoming talk of Boone and Cashman. They don’t think that any good would come out of it since the two of them have no win together.
