The Los Angeles Angels have become a center of attraction for multiple reasons in the last few weeks. It includes their on-field struggles, poor results, and injuries to crucial players, Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani. And because of it, their fight and chances of playoff qualifying have reduced further. Thus, the chances of Ohtani remaining with the Angels are now almost gone. And now it begs the question of whether Trout will stay after Ohtani’s departure.

Given that, every player dreams of being a champion and thrives on it. Trout, who has been with the Angels now, is no exception. But given the performances, his dream of winning that trophy has remained unfulfilled. And with another MLB season likely to end without playoff qualification, it raises the question about the future. With Ohtani leaving at the end of the season, the 2005 World Series Winner A. J. Pierzynski advises Trout to follow his friend to live his dream.

A. J. Pierzynski offers advice for Shohei Ohtani’s friend Mike Trout

The chance of Ohtani leaving the Angels has skyrocketed in the recent past. Much of his reasons for leaving is not exactly due to money but the team’s overall performance. And because of it, he has not played one off-season game and doesn’t think they will fulfill his dream of a World Series trophy at this club. Ohtani has revealed his frustration about it and is likely to go for a team that can help him taste success.

Notably, things are not good for Mike Trout either. He has not made it to the playoffs for almost a decade now. And with his friend leaving, there are suggestions that he should move out. And in the front of these suggestions is A. J. Pierzynski. In an episode of Foul Territory, he explained the basis behind it.

He said Trout should ask for his Trade at the end of the season. And described it as “You’re Mike Trout and you’re pretty sure Ohtani not coming back. Why don’t you call Arte Moreno the day the season ends?”

He added, “You sit down and you say, look, Arte, I’ve been here for, what, 12 years now? We’ve made the playoffs one time, and never won a playoff game. It’s time. It’s time. You can get a haul for me, trade me. I’ll help you rebuild the organization for the future. And I got a chance to win.” The suggestion looks great, but will Trout listen to it?

Will Trout leave the Angels for a fairytale end to his MLB career?

Trout has been with the Los Angeles Angels. The 11 All-Star has been a star performer ever since. He has played 1489 games, has scored 1106 runs, and 368 home runs while averaging 0.301 and an OPS of 0.994. The 32-year-old has established himself as one of the best players on the team. It was visible in his highest MLB contract.

But even after that, his dream of the World Series is far away from reality. And in his early 30s and injury issues, his dream might remain unfulfilled unless he changes something. Because of this, Trout moving away from Los Angeles looks a possibility. Also, with his friend leaving, it could act as a catalyst. But the question remains: Will Trout be willing to change his loyalty at the end of the season? What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments.
