Baseball has seen its fair share of romance and breakups over the years. Both fans and players have been involved in countless acts of love including proposals, hugs, and other gestures of affection. In a similar vein, a fan at Arizona Diamondbacks’ Chase Field recently used the big screen to share a special message with their partner. Many in the community, however, were left divided after what was claimed to be a sweet gesture.

Currently, the Diamondbacks are enjoying good form and have started the season on a great note with 11 wins and 9 losses and are currently at the top in the NL West.

A fan stole the spotlight from the team during the home game against the San Diego Padres at Chase Field. The fan posted a message for their significant other on the big screen, in an attempt to reconcile with them. The couple was seemingly going through a rough patch because the message focused on fighting for their relationship. This message was addressed to an Alexandria W and Jomboy Media shared a picture of the message on the big screen via Twitter.

The message said, “ALEXANDRIA W YOU ARE MY PERSON. LETS KEEP FIGHTING FOR US? I LOVE YOU”. No details are currently known about the couple other than the name in the message.
