Aaron Judge showed his sportsmanship. Despite the drowning situation of the team, the captain still hopes for a return. With the current situation of the team, their chance of qualifying for the playoffs is almost zero, considering the time left. But the Captain still assures fans about a miraculous return.
Maybe the situation for the Yankees would be different if Judge hadn’t gotten injured, missing 55 games. This one incident has altered the entire performance of the team. Their season has not been going well after their captain’s exit and it only escalated to worse. However, the 2022 MVP is trying to keep hope alive, claiming, “We’re not out of it…”

Aaron Judge Hopes For the Playoffs
The 2023 MLB season is almost at the end. It’s only a few days left before the Postseason begins. Even at this point, considering the current situation of the Yankees, their Playoff hopes are less than 0.1%. However, it didn’t affect the motivation of the captain. After their Saturday game against The Arizona Diamondbacks, the slugger claimed, “We’re not out of it. I think that’s No. 1. No. 2, you’ve got to play. You’ve got to be out there. It’s about showing up every single day.” The star outfielder even presented his views on injury and performance.

According to him, “You’re not going to feel 100 percent every single day. Guys are going to have bumps or bruises — or toe stuff, I guess. If you’re at 60 percent, you’ve got to give 100 percent of your 60 percent.” The Yankees captain even proved his words with his performances after injury, returning with a milestone to rank himself with former legends.
Despite suffering from a torn ligament for almost 2 months, Judge has 35 Home Runs in 100 games, making him the first player to have 3-home runs in multiple games in a single season. Previous year the 5x All-Star had 62 home run records that he might have broken had he played the entire 2023 season.
Even with this glamorous season record, the slugger couldn’t save the team’s postseason hopes in 2023. While it’s almost gone, the last two wins have again enlightened the fans.

The Charged Up Performances of The New York Yankees in Last Two Games
When the Playoff hopes of the team were almost gone with their increasing defeats, the last two games again altered things. In the last game against the Blue Jays and the first game against the Diamondbacks, the Bronx Bombers were on fire. While Gerrit Cole blew out the Blue Jays by retiring 16 hitters and pitching 8 incredible innings, Judge did the same against the Diamondbacks.
On Saturday, the Yankees captain dominated the game with 3- home runs. This was his career second 3-home Run in a game that not only snatched the victory but placed him with Alex Rodriguez and other Yankees legends.
