The Astros went after the Tampa Bay Rays at the Tropicana Field last night and did not let the Rays score. They won the game, and they won the league. AL West Champions crown came home for the second time in a row, and needless to say, fans are loving it.
How did the Houston Astros play under the management of Dusty Baker?
Although Baker helped in bringing home the AL West champion title home, the players played pretty well. What led the team to the win last night was José Altuve’s lead-off home run adding in a two-RBI performance from Alex Bregman. Not only this, the starting pitcher Luis Garcia earned his thirteenth win of this season.
