But the Astros are about to wrap up their second series of the season and have officially lost it on the road. The Detroit Tigers went up to Texas and beat the defending champs at their home for two straight games, taking the series win.?

With this incredible series win, the Tigers have given their fans hope for a great season ahead. For those unversed, the Tigers in the last decade have tried but failed to play up to the best of their potential, making them unable to enter the postseason since 2014. However, a series win, that too, against one of the strongest teams in the league, has fans wishing for their team’s future to change.?

The Tigers haven’t had the best season ever since the 21st century started. And last year was no prize either. Instead, the Detroit Tigers had one of the worst offenses in the league. It was only the middle of the season when the Tigers were called on, lacking their offense by a lot. Big players like Javy B?ez and Austin Meadows fell flat by combining for two home runs in the quarter mark of the season. Aside from the veteran players that fell badly, the youth wasn’t good either.

The only thing that the team had going well in the last season was their moderately good pitching staff. And that’s why they ended the 2022 regular season with a 66-96 record.?
