Notably, Clemente has been an icon for the Pirates over the years. And Judge was fortunate enough to swing the legendary bat of the late Roberto Clemente. Aaron Judge swings Roberto Clemente’s bat
Unlike Aaron Judge’s giant stature, the Pirates legend Roberto Clemente’s was only 5 feet 11 inches in height. But the late MLB legend used to play with a heavy-weighted bat for the Pirates. Usually, it is difficult to swing a heavy bat, but Judge did not want to miss the opportunity to try the legendary bat of Clemente, even if it was a replica.
Per Talkin Yanks, Judge uses a bat that is 33 ounces by 35 inches. But he did not have any difficulties using the iconic bat of Clemente, which weighs around 38 ounces. Taking to Twitter, Marly Rivera shared the video of Judge swinging the iconic bat.
The Yankees’ catcher, Kyle Higashioka, was also in awe of the iconic baseball bat. He even said, “that’s a man’s bat.” Rivera informed the same via Twitter.
