Josh Hader’s wayward pitches swing the game in the opposite way?
A masterful relief pitcher for the Brewers earlier,?Josh Hader?was famous for his accuracy. However, that was until he joined the Padres. Last week, Hader got removed from closing duties. During Sunday afternoon’s game against the Kansas City Royals, Hader’s struggles took a worse turn. His pitching even proved to be ‘unwatchable’. The Royals were ahead of the Padres by 9-6 when Hader was called on to pitch.
Since joining the San Diego Padres, Josh Hader has thrown 4.2 innings and allowed 12 runs on 12 hits with seven walks and eight strikeouts. An absolutely brutal stretch that may have seen its nadir today, with six earned runs in one-third of an inning. His season ERA is now 6.52.
