LA Angels star, Mike Trout, is a pure entertainer of the game. Every baseball fan is familiar with his power-hitting in the ballpark. But this time, the Angels slugger smoked a home run off his one-year-old son.
Trout has been playing the big league games for over ten years. Over the years, he has given several clinical performances from the plate. While playing for the Angels, Trout has single-handedly won games many times. Ever since his MLB debut, he has been playing only for the Angels.

After missing out on several games in the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to injury and Covid-19, Trout is back stronger in the 2022 season. He, along with Shohei Ohtani, has been the backbone of the Joe Maddon-led side.
Mike Trout showed no mercy to his son
Every kid dreams of outclassing their parents in sports one day. But if Mike Trout is the parent, then it is a near-impossible job. Because he is that man who will hit a home run off his one-year-old son. Taking to Twitter, MLB shared a video of the same.
In the video, one can see how he asked his son to throw a pitch, and then he goes Boom! He did not even hesitate to smash the home run of his one-year-old son.

The Angels slugger has been phenomenal in the current season. With 13 home runs, he is at three on the 2022 home run leaderboard. Given there are still over 100 league games to play, Trout is having one of the best seasons. If things go his way, then the Angels star will give a tough competition to his teammate and camaraderie, Shohei Ohtani, for the AL MVP Award.
Currently, the Angels are second in the AL West. With 27 wins out of 48 games, the Angels are just two wins behind the division leader Houston Astros. And if Trout remains fit throughout the season, the Angels will give tough competition to the MLB heavyweights for the World Series title.
