After smashing 62 home runs and breaking Roger Maris’ record from 1961, New Yorkers expected Aaron Judge to carry the Pinstripes to a World Series after 13 years. However, the star outfielder regular and postseason were two completely different stories.

Notably, Aaron Judge entered 2022 as a free agent since he couldn’t find a common ground with the New York Yankees’ front office. Brian Cashman revealed that the slugger was offered a $213.5 million contract extension for seven years.

Naturally, after probably the best season of his life, Aaron Judge has numerous suitors, and his future with the New York Yankees was under question. However, in a recent interview with Yes Network, the Bronx’s owner Hal Steinbrenner discusses the positive conversations he’s had with the outfielder.

While candidly speaking to Yes Network, Steinbrenner talks about the multiple positive conversations he’s had with Aaron Judge. He said, “I have had more than one conversation with Aaron since the season ended. Very positive conversations.”

Moving on, while responding to a question about Judge’s confirmed future in Pinstripes, Steinbrenner said, “I have made it clear to him that is our wish. He means a lot to this organization and I’ve made it clear to him that we’re going to do everything we can to make that happen.”

However, the big question that still remains is, where does Judge want to go? The long list of Judge cavaliers isn’t going to disappear anytime soon. And the Yanks will face significant competition from the Dodgers and Giants, who are both keen on signing the recently proclaimed Hank Aaron winner.
