Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is all over the internet. And why not? The Toronto Blue Jays hitter did a Bo Jackson impression in the Yankee Stadium. During the game against the New York Yankees, Guerrero snapped his bat into two pieces with his bare hands.

Known for his power hitting. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one of the cleanest hitters in the league. With 48 home runs in his name, Guerrero had a terrific season in 2021. And once again, the Jays slugger is in fine form. As of now, Guerrero has hit seven home runs in the current season. With over 100 games yet to be played, Guerrero has the best chance to beat his own record.

After a blazing start in the 2022 season, the Toronto Blue Jays have lost three series in a row. And coincidently, they lost their first series against the Yankees at their home. They have not been the same since then.
On Wednesday, when the Yankees pitcher Jameson Taillon struck him out with a cutter from the mound, Guerrero slammed his bat to the ground in frustration. Later, he snapped his bat into two pieces over his leg.
Will Guerrero face any penalty for breaking his bat?
Well, there are no such rules and regulations regarding snapping a bat amidst the game. So Guerrero might not face any penalty from MLB over his actions in the ballpark.
