The Kauffman Stadium is the home ground for the MLB team, Kansas City Royals. The stadium got named in the honor of Ewing Kauffman, founder and original owner of the Royals franchise. Though, the stadium got initially known as the Royals Stadium and opened up in 1973.?

Friday night saw the Kauffman Stadium host the opening game between the Kansas City Royals and the San Diego Padres. The home team, the Royals, put up a disappointing performance. But there sure was a lot of entertainment in the stands.?

The Royals vs Padres game witnessed a ‘super dad’ in the stands at the Kauffman Stadium. It’s a common scene to see spectators make an effort to catch foul balls in baseball games. But some people often travel the extra mile. So did a man recently who was watching the game with his family.?

Trying to win a foul ball for his son, a man rolled over the railings at the back. He failed to catch the ball on the first attempt. He fell backward and onto his son. But he was determined not to surrender. So he rolled back over the seats, crossing the railing to retrieve the ball. He even accidentally hit his son and wife on the way.?

But his devotion to the act saw him fetch the ball successfully and hand it over to his smiling son. Everyone in the crowd including his family applauded his heroics and we’re laughing. The commentators, witnessing every moment, soon got into the act too.?

One of the commentators narrated the whole saying, “He missed the ball…. Watch this, he missed it. And then falling backwards, he lands on his son. He decks his wife, and then kicks her on the face.” The other commentator added, “And everyone’s laughing now, that’s the important part.”?
