There is nothing like the Red Sox and the Yankees’ rivalry. In the history of Major League Baseball, both franchises have proven that they are the best and fiercest rivalry that any baseball fan is ever going to see. The players of both teams can be friends and still not like the other’s team. A state-of-the-art example of this is the Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez and Red Sox’s David Ortiz.

Ever since their beginning, the Red Sox has won a total of nine World Championship wins. Whereas the New York Yankees have won twenty-seven, making it one of the best teams in the history of Major League Baseball.?

Fought through the years of rivalry when Alex and Ortiz played, they’ve stayed pretty good friends off the field. But when it comes to either playing catch or associating themselves with the other’s team’s gears, it is a straight-up “NO”. But as friends never leave any chance of messing up with each other, A-Rod didn’t want to lose out on having some fun as he teased his old friend, Big Papi, aka David Ortiz.

Harmless fun is good for all. While being on the set of Fox Network, talking about the Yankees’ first game of the Divisional Series, A-Rod decided to have some fun of his own.

Therefore, he took one of the helmets on set and helped Ortiz wear it. But what Big Papi didn’t know was that the helmet Rodriguez put on his head was not of the Red Sox but of the New York Yankees.?

Later, when David saw, he straight up went from “I’m proud of this man”?to?“What are you doing?” Then he proceeded to put the Yankees helmet back in its place to wear his team, Red Sox’s helmet.
