Texas Rangers’ beloved slugger, Adolis Garcia, was missing from Game 5 of the World Series. But that didn’t stop him from hyping up his team from the sidelines. The result was a 5-0 win for the Rangers and their first-ever win in their 63-year-old franchise history.
Garcia was removed after Game 3 of the Fall Classic with a “moderate oblique strain” injury. However, despite being unavailable on the diamond, the 30-year-old found a way to support his team in the most uplifting way.

As the unusually intimidating Texas Rangers made it to Game 5 with eyes on the biggest baseball title, they might have been concerned about not having one of their star players on the roster. The slugger has been out since Wednesday in a devastating blow to the club. But injury or not, Garcia was just being Garcia. @Rangers tweeted a clip where the Cuban baseballer was spotted jamming away with Leody Taveras and Ezequiel Durán pre-game.

And this enthusiasm seemed to have rubbed off on his replacement Travis Jankowski too. Jankowski rose to the occasion for the Lone Stars with two hits and two RBIs in Game 4, and two hits in the final.
Adolis Garcia’s attempt to pump his team up despite not taking part in the remainder of the Fall Classic fared well. However, everything has not been hunky-dory for Texas as well as Garcia. Fans have subjected him to the harshest of scrutiny in recent times. Who’d have thought that he would fall prey to potential PED usage inspection by fans?
Before-after photos of ‘El Bombi’ have raised fans’ eyebrows for being drastically different. One, for instance, back when he was with the St. Louis Cardinals, Garcia was rather lean. However, now, his intimating shoulder bulk up and head size have fans deducing a conjecture-based narrative. Additionally, the mid-game injuries added to the team’s troubles.

The Texas Rangers had to redo their roster due to Adolis Garcia’s oblique strain along with Max Scherzer’s back spasms. In the fourth inning of Game 3, the 39-year-old Rangers pitcher was pulled out with no news of return in the forthcoming days. The double trouble was heavy for the Lone Stars to handle, yet they ousted the former underdogs, the Arizona Diamondbacks. Texas has presented a series of surprises in their Fall Classic run, and their standing out despite losing their aces, is one to note.
