Surprisingly, Rodriguez’s opponent was an unexpected competitor. He was a 22-month-old batting prodigy by the name of Asher Willig. Asher came to the show with his father Cory Willig, who was once an independent league baseball player.?

Fallon first showed a clip of Asher having a batting practice at home with his father. At the end of the video, Cory made his entry on the set, carrying Asher along. After a brief chat, the contest began with 30 seconds of hitting time divided between each.??
