Just like him, his friends from other industries enjoy things to the fullest. One such friend of A-Rod is the prankster filmmaker George Clooney. While spending the Christmas holiday with friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, A-Rod became the target of the mischiefs of notorious Clooney.
How did Alex Rodriguez get to see a pup instead of nature?
People go on vacation to beautiful places to take time off from their hectic schedules, and that’s what Alex was trying to do.

The then baseball player wanted to take in nature, so he picked up his binoculars. Clooney, while grinning, came from a side, as A-Rod put the binoculars on his eyes, he did not see the view that was in front of him. Instead, he got to see a very close-up view of a cute chihuahua.

Obviously, Alex got startled by looking at a pup. And thus, Clooney became successful at his little trick. And also, in this little practical joke of Clooney’s, the dog did not get hurt.
Complicated past of Rodriguez
Two years prior to taking this trip, in 2009, Alex’s name came up on the list of players who got tested positive for taking performance-enhancing drugs in 2003. But he had not faced any repercussions from the MLB at that time.

In 2013, the biogenesis scandal broke, and with it, Alex once again got tested positive for taking steroids. But, this time, he paid for his actions and got suspended from Major League Baseball for 162 games. Which caused him to miss the entire 2014 season.
