I got to win it for the first time in this uniform last year, and that means everything. I mean, Mookie, You’ve got three titles; I have got two titles in here. Max, a lot of these guys got two titles in here. Like Mookie said on that video, we want more. When you win one, you want to win another one. You just want to keep winning and winning and winning, and when you put on his uniform, that’s… this is the epitome of baseball right here, the Dodgers.”

Freeman closed the last season with a.300 batting average, 89 RBIs, and 22 home runs, slashing.250/.291/.519 while leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the World Series title. He faced some major challenges not only due to his ankle injury but also due to his son, who was battling a severe disease—Guillain-Barre syndrome; however, he is gradually recovering now.
