Days ago, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had a history-creating Home Run Derby performance. Now, the All-Star is back and representing the Blue Jays while chasing a playoff berth. But during the All-Star weekend, he was asked to name his GOAT shortly before going on the red carpet.

Batboysbaseball shared a video of the interview on Instagram. Instead of prescribing one player, Guerrero Jr. called five. But while doing so, he snubbed Alex Rodriguez by naming him and then taking it back. In the interview, Guerrero Jr. said, “I’ll give you 5. Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, A-Rod, no no wait.”

A-Rod May Miss Out on the Hall of Fame

Alex Rodriguez still has time to be elected to the Hall of Fame, but he may be unlikely to be given the honor. In recent years, the Hall has never given players associated with steroids the massive honor. It is seen as a disgrace to the game.

Unless they lighten their thoughts on the issue, it seems unlikely Rodriguez will get a reprieve. Furthermore, despite improving his image in recent years, people still remember the scandal.
