Last night, Dodger Stadium, became an eyewitness of a troll job by the LA Dodgers fans.

It happened when Mookie Betts was on the field to hit. And Dodgers fans decided to mock the Padres for the recent suspension of Padres’ shortstop, Fernando Tatis Jr.

After all, the steroid era in baseball has tainted the game. And also made the spectators look at the game differently. Many players have gotten themselves suspended from the Major Leagues. It happened in the wake of their usage of performance-enhancing drugs.

How did the troll job by the LA Dodgers fans fail?

 In an attempt to troll the recently suspended Padres player, Fernando Tatis Jr, Dodgers fans threw an inflatable toy on the field. It had ‘PED’ written on it. 

However, their aim to mock the team had a reverse effect, as the Dodgers lost their third game in a row. Even so,  pretty badly by 1-7, at their own field.

The Dodgers are now at 90-41. Whereas the Padres are at 74-59. At the same time, Dodgers fans tried to mock the Padres’ shortstop Tatis Jr, who is serving his suspension of 80 games by the Major Leagues.

And therefore, he was not even present at the game when Dodgers fans tried to mock San Diego Padres at their stadium at his expense.

How did the fans react to the Dodgers fans’ failed troll job?

While many of the fans on Twitter thought it was funny of the Dodgers fans for doing so, Padres fans did not hold themselves back. They reminded the Dodgers fans about the players of their team who also got suspended. Because of taking performance-enhancing drugs.

 

Padres fans made sure to remember the Dodgers players who also took steroids and got themselves suspended from the game.

Meanwhile, one of the fans wanted the Dodgers fans to wait till Tatis Jr. come back.

Besides, Fernando Tatis Jr. got himself suspended for 80 games. Consequently of him testing positive to have taken Clostebol, which is an anabolic steroid. Tatis Jr. getting suspended from the game has nothing to do with the team. Therefore, they did not deserve that.
