Ever since the Pitsburg Pirates designated Cole Tucker on assignment in 2022, the Major League has not been an easy playing field for the switch-hitting shortstop and outfielder. After being put on assignment, Tucker got the feel of the Diamondbacks’ Reno Aces, before he signed a minor-league deal with the Colorado Rockies. Following his Minor League contract with the Rockies, Tucker has consistently started for the Albuquerque Isotopes – Triple A affiliate of the Rockies.

All through, the bright upcoming shortstop and outfielder has made a case to be on their Major League roster. Most recently, his three-run homer against the Round Rock Express in Texas left his newly announced fiance, and High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens amazed.

Cole Tucker’s three-run homer leaves Vanessa Hudgens in awe

Hosted at Dell Diamond in Texas, Cole Tucker, starting at center field for the Isotopes, hit a three-run homer in the first innings of the game before the Isotopes eventually beat the Round Rock Express 10-2. While re-uploading a video of Cole Tucker smashing the three-run homer, actress Vanessa Hudgens boasted about her fiancé.

On her Instagram story, the former High School Musical star, preparing to star in the newest installment of the Bad Boys franchise with 49 million Instagram followers, said in just three words, “Das my fiance.”

In the 2023 Spring Training, Cole Tucker managed to get 20 games, with 44 plate appearances. In this, he managed only seven hits, one homer, and three runs batted in at a below-par BA of 0.189. For Tucker to actually find a place in the Rockies Major League roster, he would really need to put his foot on the accelerator and display more consistent performances.

Back in February 2021, when Cole was still playing with the Pirates, he confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens. Two years in, in February 2023, the couple publicly announced their engagement after reportedly getting engaged in November 2022 during their romantic trip to Paris.
