After a long, rollercoaster season, the Yanks were victim to an anti-climactic conclusion. The usually flamboyant Pinstripe fans were humbled, and the Astros, with their extravagant celebrations and social media trolls, didn’t spare the New Yorkers. And through this chaos, all the way from Texas, sat junior United States senator Ted Cruz.
Ted Cruz surprises the Bronx with a surprise visit all the way from Texas
Ted Cruz, who’s an established Astros fan, sat right behind the home plate at the Bronx during the fourth game. And the senator uploaded regular updates all across the game.

However, the presence of a multimillionaire, politician, and Astros fan didn’t sit well with the Pinstripe supporters. In fact, multiple Astros fans also reached Twitter to criticize the privileged and elitist senator.
While some fans spoke about the Senator’s lack of knowledge of the sport, others reacted by uploading an image that displayed the “reality” of the situation. This is how fans reacted to the presence of US senator Ted Cruz at Yankee Stadium:

After the Championship Series has come to an end, the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies have qualified for the American League and National League, respectively.
Astros dominance in the American League postseason
