The Yankees are playing against the Athletics in a crucial away series. Upon arriving in San Francisco, manager Aaron Boone faced a luggage issue. After reaching, and hours before the matchup against the Athletics, his luggage was misplaced at the airport. Boone recounted this story while appearing on the “Talkin’ Yanks” podcast by Jomboy Media. He said that although he had planned a trip to the wine country in Sonoma, that got canceled because of his luggage issues. Furthermore, he explained that it was not an issue with the Yankees’ staff. 

During the podcast, he said, “I was going to do some wine country. I was supposed to go to Sonoma, but I had bag issues in the middle of the night when we got here.” Boone further explained, saying, “Well, they didn’t lose it, but they couldn’t find it for a little while.” But the issue was reportedly resolved, according to the Bombers skipper, who said, “That was on the place here, fortunately, we got good people on top of it.”
