Ohtani has made it crystal clear that his priority is winning. But the Angels have been doing exactly the opposite for the past couple of seasons. Recently, the LA Angels owner told the NY Post, “I’d like to keep Ohtani. He’s one of a kind.” Moreno’s ambition has made him a target on Twitter and fans have been mocking his statement.

Whether the Los Angeles Angels get to retain Ohtani depends on their performance this upcoming season. As well as they need to match the enormous offers the other clubs are offering him.
