It seems like nothing is going right for the Boston Red Sox. The 4-time World Series champions are already having a poor season, and to make the situation worse, the on-field umpire ejected the Red Sox manager Alex Cora during a game against the Kansas City Royals.

When talking about the Red Sox, they have been one of the worst-performing teams this season, considering the Red Sox are a top-tier team. Whether it is about their rotation, fielding, or batting, the Red Sox have failed in every aspect of the game this season. And that is the only reason the Alex Cora-led team is at the bottom of the AL East.

Recently, after winning a three-game series against a title contender team, the Houston Astros, the Red Sox kicked off the four-game series against the Royals. However, the Alex Cora-led team could not continue the momentum and?lost?the first game by a massive margin (7-3). Apart from this defeat, the umpire ejected Alex Cora from the game for what seemed to be no reason.

What did even the Red Sox manager Alex Cora do?

During the bottom half of the seventh inning, Salvador P?rez ‘Salvy’ hit a three-run home run to a 110 mph fastball. The home plate umpire Bill Welke reviewed the hit and stood by his call. However, Cora did not seem convinced by this decision, so he came to talk about it to the home plate umpire.

While watching the video of the same, it seemed like Alex Cora was having a light conversation. But Welke had another idea as he ejected Cora from the game. Cora was in shock by this harsh decision. Even baseball fans also raged about it on social media.
