No chance taken is the loss of an even bigger opportunity. Fans do various stuff to once have their dream fulfilled of meeting their favorite star. That is what the minor league baseball player for the Cubs, Anthony Giansanti, did for the first-ever inductee of the UFC Hall of Fame, Ronda Rousey.

Being a professional baseball player comes with a lot of perks. Out of those perks, one is getting four tickets to the game, the player is playing in. To make his dream come true, the utility player had to take a big chance, and he wasn’t ready to let go of his dream.Therefore, whenever he had the chance to play at Iowa, he took it and made it known to everybody and the WWE star he wanted to meet.

What did Giansanti do to meet Ronda Rousey?

Out of the four passes that were allowed for the player to have, the utility player used to save one of them for the WWE star. In case, she ever wanted to come, there would always be a seat reserved for her at the Principal Park. 

And it was no joke on Anthony’s part either. He also listed the star’s name on one of the passes and posted its picture on his Twitter handle. It did not happen once, but twice. There was a ticket waiting for the star at will-call if or when she decided to give one of her biggest fans to meet Ronda Rousey. As said before, every chance not taken is an even bigger opportunity lost.

Rousey meant enough for Anthony that he was willing to set aside one ticket for each of his games. Also, he did not shy away from announcing it to the whole world.

What would have happened had Rousey decided to come?

The main reason for Giansanti to do this, was to have some laughs and also get a rise out of his teammates. He didn’t know that Rousey even knew if he existed or about the free ticket either.

But if it ever happened, he had said that he would have asked her on a date. Because he would have made it that far, so he had to give it a shot.
