The Tampa Bay Rays have been making headlines for a strange?Oppenheimer?connection. However, while pitcher Tyler Glasnow’s?uncanny resemblance to actor Cillian Murphy?has been all over the news, the Rays are also establishing their baseball dominance. Yesterday, it was against the New York Yankees.

It has been a disappointing few days in the Bronx after the latest loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Despite the long-awaited return of Aaron Judge, the team continues in a slump. As the trade deadline inches closer, fans have several trade opinions because the current team doesn’t seem to cut it.

The Yankees captain may not be back at full strength, but he’s doing his best. His teammates, however, are another story. After missing a chunk of the regular season, Aaron Judge is doing his best to return to prime shape. Some have criticized the team for not giving him enough time to recover. But then again, the backlash against the front office is nothing new.

The barely functioning offense once again lost to the Rays as even the defense struggled. Shining on the Tampa Bay lineup was Tyler Glasnow, who pitched seven solid innings and helped his team to a 5-1 victory. He allowed a solo home run against the Yankees’ left fielder Jake Bauers, a former Rays player. But nothing could help ease another Bronx defeat.

Even Cillian Murphy joked about Glasnow being much better at baseball than him, as he certainly proved against the Yankees.

This marked the third consecutive win in the last four Rays games, while it was the second straight loss for the Bronx Bombers. Fans are enraged.

Baseball Fans Are Furious Over Yet Another Yankees Loss

The Yankees have been eerily quiet during July, seemingly uninterested in trades. Fans have several recommendations on who could come and who should go as they criticize the front office’s inabilities yet again.

At the very least, two of the biggest stars in pinstripes, Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole, deserve better, per fans.

One jokingly enquired if Aaron Boone could be traded, while he received backlash from many others.

Many want the team away from the influence of Hal Steinbrenner.

Sitting at the bottom of the AL East, it’s unlikely they will defeat the second-place holders of the division. But many hope that the series doesn’t end up being a sweep at the very least.
