They say athletes are not made, they’re forged. Hard work on the heels of raw talent, plus a knack for grabbing opportunities, and Voila! A great player comes into existence. And from recent videos of two-year-old Julián Jr., posted by MLB insider Héctor Gómez, the kid clearly has some serious skills.

The caption says, “Check out the powerful swing of little Julián Jr., only 2 years old. 🔥🔥🔥”, and it shows a great player in the making. Both videos show the kid hitting the ball as powerfully as his little body will allow, and one of the balls even comes close to clocking the person behind the camera!

While MLB may only be a little more than a century old, baseball has been around for even longer. Players from all nationalities, genders, and races have left their mark on the sport. Some ranked low on the talent bar, some were mediocre, and some have been extremely high. Ranging from names like Tim Lincecum and Albert Pujols to Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, the national pastime of America has seen many greats.
