Trending kid reporter Jazzy of the YouTube channel Jazzys World TV asked him about his favorite snacks. In an adorable gesture, she also gifted him some of his favorite Japanese candy called Poifull. The Japanese star smiled throughout the exchange and was seemingly happy to answer her questions.
Ohtani said through his interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, “I do like some potato chips, Japanese chips.” Although some call Shohei Ohtani a unicorn or alien for his otherworldly baseball play, he loves chips like any other human. Furthermore, it seems even more interesting considering his strict diet and training regimen.
