Shohei Ohtani has done it again. The Japanese baseballer is redefining the meaning of ‘sensation’ as he joins yet another elite club. Already a beloved player in the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, MLB gained a superstar the day Ohtani decided to play internationally. Fans expect good skills from anyone who is able to make it to the big leagues. But what’s special about Ohtani is that he does it on both sides of the ball and breaks records left and right while doing it.
The 28-year-old has been playing with the Los Angeles Angels ever since his MLB debut in 2018. But the 2023 season is the last year of his contract with them and most baseball fans believe he will change teams. Still, the fact of the matter is that no matter where Ohtani plays, he will probably outshine most of his fellow teammates as he’s doing now. After all, he just joined the legendary Babe Ruth with yet another major achievement.

In the modern era, that is since 1900, only 4 players have managed to do it. Ohtani is now the 5th one, joining the elite club with Smoky Joe Wood, Red Ruffing, Walter Johnson, and Babe Ruth. In the Angels’ last game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the Japanese phenom completed 500 strikeouts as a pitcher. He already had 500 hits as a batter.
Interestingly, many MLB analysts think Ohtani should get at least $500 million in his next contract. Because he certainly knows how to leave everyone around him open-mouthed in awe!
Trade trout to keep him. This dude is the best player I've ever seen.

What does the score have to do with anything? Does anyone know if the Giants were winning when Barry hit 756?
Oh and the Angels ended up winning
