Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass’ pregnant wife Sydney Rae James recently flew on United Airlines with their two daughters. A flight attendant put James through an ordeal. According to Bass, his pregnant wife was made to get down on her hands and knees and clean up after their daughter dropped some popcorn. He shared details of the incident via Twitter. Most recently, Bass shared a concluding Tweet on the incident. 

In a Tweet, he said, “Thank you everyone for the support. United Airlines is taking care of matters with the flight attendant internally.” The Blue Jays pitcher was initially livid because of the incident and had even shared a Tweet clarifying that the popcorn was provided by the airline.

The reactions to this have been largely negative, with many disagreeing with Bass. Some even questioned his and his wife’s ability as parents.

Other fans said it’s not the flight attendant’s job to clean after their children.

This incident drew a lot of differing opinions on the situation. But some sort of resolution has come to pass, according to Bass.

The airline resolved the issue internally

According to the latest Tweet by Anthony Bass, the situation has been taken care of internally by United Airlines. But the airline has not shared details of the resolution. United Airlines would be taking appropriate actions, taking the enormity of the incident into consideration.
