According to Bass, his pregnant wife was made to get down on her hands and knees and clean up after their daughter dropped some popcorn. He shared details of the incident via Twitter. Most recently, Bass shared a concluding Tweet on the incident. 

In a Tweet, he said, “Thank you everyone for the support. United Airlines is taking care of matters with the flight attendant internally.” The Blue Jays pitcher was initially livid because of the incident and had even shared a Tweet clarifying that the popcorn was provided by the airline.
