From an unreal display of random smiling people to energetic and non-friendly chants and fights over a home run ball, the MLB bleachers have witnessed it all. Amongst all the peculiar events that occur in these bleachers, this time something funnily absurd has taken place when Oriole Park hosted the Toronto Blue Jays.

Yesterday, when the Blue Jays took on the Orioles in an away game, a man proposed to his girlfriend during the top order at-bat of the Blue Jays.
How did fans react to the fake proposal during the Toronto Blue Jays game?
Before going down on one knee, the man uttered the three magic words and kissed his girlfriend. Not long after, he started to go down on his knee and his girlfriend looked pleasantly surprised. However, seconds later, when he took out the Ring Pop candy, his infuriated girlfriend slapped him. Moreover, she also went on to empty her drink on him.

While some fans thought this proposal was fake, the proposal infuriated some fans due to its poor timing.

I just seen a video of a guy fake proposing to his girlfriend during a Jays game.
The fact he did it with a ring pop in front of thousands of people is one thing, but to do it in the middle of an at-bat by the top of the order is where I draw a line. Absolutely not.

Notably, the Toronto Blue Jays, who have already secured a postseason berth for themselves through the wild card, beat the eliminated Baltimore Orioles 5-1 at Oriole Park.
Which teams have sealed the wild card berth?
From the American League, two East Division teams – Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays have secured a wild card berth. Along with them, from the West Division, are the Seattle Mariners.

On the other hand, from the National League, the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Diego Padres have clinched the wildcards and the only competition left, once again, is in the East Division, between the Braves and Mets.
