The five leading MLB managers with the highest World Series wins from 1903 to 2022 include the following. The number mentioned in the bracket indicates how many times these managers have made the cut. These are Casey Stengel (7), Joe McCarthy (7), Connie Mack (5), Walter Alston (4), and Joe Torre (4).

Casey Stengel is the only manager who has won a World Series title five times in a row. Joe McCarthy has secured the highest winning percentage in the regular season as well as the postseason. Both Stengel and McCarthy are tied up in the leading position, with seven wins each. McCarthy was the manager of the New York Yankees, winning the titles between 1932-43. Stengel took over the New York Yankees after McCarthy?s tenure had ended in 1947. He began with the Yankees in 1949, in which he delivered an incomparable tenure with consecutive wins.

With the Athletics, Connie Mack has won five World Series even though the team was always at the brunt of financial crises. Walter Alston?s baseball managerial instincts and calm demeanor cannot be superseded. Under Joe Torre, the New York Yankees won four times, which makes him a part of the leading five positions.
