While the Oakland Athletics fans fight to stop the team from moving, things aren’t looking any better for MLB’s Colorado Rockies. Most recently, they started their three-game series against the LA Angels. Although winning the first game, they lost by a big margin of 24 runs in the second game. Moments after the shattering loss against the Angels, the Rockies’ management made a shocking move that left the baseball fans dumbfounded.

Having lost 49 games until now, the Rockies are at the bottom of the NL West. Even though they managed to win the first game of the series, they couldn’t help but suffer a bitter defeat that apparently sting to their core in the second game.

Colorado Rockies took a brutal hit on them by the LA Angels!

With MLB season home run leader Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout on the team, the Angels managed to score a total of 25 in their last game. While doing so, they did not let their opposition team, the Rockies, score more than one in the entire game. With this win, the Angels secured the second position in AL West, just behind the Texas Rangers. However, the Rockies maintained the last place and suffered a brutal blow to their roster merely hours after losing the game.

MLB insider Robert Murray posted on his Twitter handle that the Angels are acquiring Rockies star player Mike Moustakas. Moments after this news came up, Moustaka had already been traded to the Angels. 

Later on, when Fox News reported the same on their Twitter handle, baseball fans couldn’t help but feel sad for the Colorado Rockies. 

Fans are shocked by this move!

The Rockies had beautifully won the first game of the series but turned upside down within a day. By the fourth inning of the second game, the Angels were leading with 23 runs in their corner, and the Rockies hadn’t scored even one. Notably, it was one of the shocking games of this season, and even more shocking was the trade that came after the game of the Rockies’ best player.
