Furthermore, it has had a profound impact on the people involved in the shift. Most recently, MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark emphasized the need for a quick resolution. He spoke to the San Francisco Chronicle while detailing how many people are getting caught up in the messy situation.?
While speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle, Clark said, ?The need for the concerns in Oakland to be remedied sooner rather than later is in everyone?s best interest.? He further said, ?There are a lot of folks that are affected by what?s happening. Obviously, the players on the field are affected. Players in other organizations. The fans themselves, as we already know, are being affected.??
This seems to be his way of calling for billionaire owner Fisher to move a little quicker in getting the move done. There are still a few processes in place as final details and decisions have to be made. But the Athletics? current situation has left a sour taste in certain insiders? and experts? mouths.
