As a former professional athlete, Alex Rodriguez knows the importance of fitness and the impact it can have on overall health and well-being. His love for fitness is what kept him active throughout his twenty-two seasons in Major League Baseball. Even though A-Rod has been retired from the game for over six years now, his love for fitness hasn’t diminished. But from the looks of it, Rodriguez’s fitness drive has only increased.

The former Yankee has always been an active fitness promoter by giving tips and tricks to his 4+ million fans on social media. No matter where A-Rod is or how tired he is, he never misses out on a workout. And his recent workout while traveling to the west coast would be a perfect example for anyone to understand the meaning of fitness for him. Even so, he did not stop praising himself for getting his workout done.

Because of his multiple ventures, Alex continues to travel regularly. Hence, taking the time to get the workout done can sometimes get challenging. But Rodriguez recently showed what matters is that you get the workout done, even if you do it with a delay.

After completing his workout, the former Yankee pulled out his cell phone to record himself. As he did so, he let his fans know that he got in at the west coast at around 2 at night and was supposed to get started on his workout schedule at 8. But as he said, “Today was a mother**. I pressed snooze 4 times. Then I got started at 9:15. But I got it done. Burned around 600 calories. I’m proud of that because it takes discipline, commitment, and this many commitments is much harder these days than when I play. But small wins is what create champions. So just wanted to share that. It’s okay if you press snooze, just make sure you get it in.”

It does not matter if a person is late to his workout for any reason. But the only thing that matters is that they get it done, as consistency is what helps a person. Alex has always been an active promoter of fitness and the benefits it provides, and he will forever be the same.

A-Rod and his girlfriend stay fit together!

Adding to his love for fitness is his girlfriend, Canadian fitness expert Jaclyn Cordeiro. Ever since the former Yankee and Jac came into a relationship, they’ve been spotted countless times working out together. Like Alex, Jaclyn also makes it a habit of getting her workout done, regardless of where she is or what time it is.
