Major League Baseball team, LA Angels, since it came into existence in 1961, has won only one World Series in 2002. That year is also their first and only World Series championship appearance. The team has had substandard play over the years resulting in not winning a playoff game since 2009. Despite having two of the best players in the league, the Angels had a 7th consecutive losing season last year. Because of this, it was announced in August 2022 that the owner of the team, Arte Moreno, is looking for a potential sale of the team to take place. He had already hired a team of lawyers and met quite a few potential individuals and groups.
And now, the Angels’ official Twitter handle announced that the Moreno family has ended the exploratory process of selling the team. It is being said that the family is not yet done and will continue the ownership in the upcoming season and beyond. But the fans are not happy with this decision and are lending their shoulders for the Angels fans to think about changing the fandom.

Should probably go ahead and trade Ohtani to the Dodgers.

“We can make a positive impact”
Translation: we’re going to ruin the career of Mike Trout and most likely trade Shohei…
I’d rather have Disney own them at this rate…

Lmfao poor Angels fans have to deal with more bottom dwelling pitching to go with their injury plagued superstars.

Worst news I've heard today. Arte we are ready to part with you though, so please sell. We need an owner who actually wants to invest in the team, not his/her own pockets. I can't even watch the team I love because I don't have Spectrum.

Just say it……the Moreno family hates @Angels fans.

I am so sorry for angel fans. Hope Moreno sells soon

To say that fans are not happy would be an understatement. Other teams’ fans are pushing the Angels’ fans to change their allegiance. While a couple of them think that by this decision, they’d be ruining Mike Trout’s future as a ball player and giving Shohei Ohtani every reason to sign with another team in his free agency.
How did the Angels play in 2022?
The Los Angeles Angels finished the 2022’s regular season by winning only 73 games and losing 89. They lost yet another season and failed to enter playoffs once again. They finished third in AL West and were nowhere near to even making it to the wild card. Even though some players had a decent season, it wasn’t enough to reach the postseason.
