However, the interviewer cannot help but comment on one particular rookie’s fashion sense, Aaron Judge, who hit a soaring home run against the Giants on Opening Day 23. And the shortstop could only mutter, “That’s different for sure, I don’t want to talk about him” As he took a look at Judge’s mismatched but adorable outfit, he continued, “But I kind of want to talk about him, he got the plaid shorts, got the Nike socks, plain blue tee.” It’s not every day that one sees the New York Yankees’ captain dressed in such an endearing outfit.

Furthermore, Baltimore Orioles Adam Frazier’s khakis outfit draws a playful response from the Chicago White Sox’s shortstop, “Khaki’s were in then, huh.” But Tim Anderson’s attention soon turns to his own 2013 outfit. “I got a polo on, it’s chill,” he proudly states. The interviewer then teasingly points out that Anderson’s boat shoes have come a long way since their rookie days and the athlete can’t help but laugh. 

The picture of the young rookies huddled together like the best of friends before their MLB debut sure is heartwarming.
