THROWBACK: Jennifer Lopez Once Spoke About Meeting Ex-Fiancée Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez at Beverly Hills for the First Time: “I Could Literally Just Have Walked Away”

Throughout his 22-season-long MLB career, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez managed to get labeled a “Yankee bad boy,” who was successful in the ballpark but also made the news for controversial reasons. A-Rod met famous Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez at Beverly Hills, and the two superstars of MLB and Hollywood became a couple in 2017.

Back in 2002, A-Rod married Cynthia Scurtis. While the couple had two daughters, their relationship never worked out for various reasons. Eventually, the couple officially got divorced in 2008 and Cynthia cited “emotional abandonment,” to be the cause of it.

J.Lo talks about the time when she was having lunch at Beverly Hills and she saw A-Rod walk by. She said, “I almost yelled out ‘Alex,’ but I am the shyest person when it comes to things like that. I could literally just have walked away. But I walk over and tap him on the shoulder and say ‘Hey.’”
