Despite having a couple of the best players, the LA Angels are on a losing streak. This year marks the team’s seventh consecutive losing season.

The team right now has the three times AL MVP Mike Trout and the two-way star player Shohei Ohtani, and even then, the team is struggling pretty badly this year. The team has won only 61 games this season, while they lost 82. The Angels have not made it to the postseason of Major League Baseball since 2015. And they also have not won any playoff game since the year 2009.
Is Arte Moreno going to sell LA Angels?
With the team’s continued substandard play over the years, the owner of the team, Arte Moreno, and his family decided last month that it was time to let go of the ownership.
The Angels have clinched a losing season. They are 61-82. It is the 7th consecutive season they have a losing record.
Despite generational players and a $180 million payroll, this is the result.
They'll likely be eliminated officially from the postseason in the coming days.

Therefore, Moreno announced, “It has been a great honor and privilege to own the Angels for 20 seasons. Although this difficult decision was entirely our choice and deserved a great deal of thoughtful consideration, my family and I have ultimately come to the conclusion that now is the time.”
Throughout the 61 seasons that the LA Angels have played in Major League Baseball, they have only once won the World Series Title in 2002. Accordingly, Trout and Ohtani cannot do it alone. Therefore, the owner has retained Galatioto Sports Partners as financial advisors to help sell the team.
However, fans agree with Moreno’s decision, while some want to trade off Ohtani and Trout.
What are the fans saying about Angels?
A user said that there are other franchises in the League with worse records in comparison to Angels, but they didn’t have Mike Trout with them.
Sure, that's bad but there's been other clubs that have been a lot worse. Those clubs didn't have Mike Trout though🤷♂️ https://t.co/39u2ZDPycm pic.twitter.com/1eHMPxcZf0

On the other hand, should Ohtani and Trout be traded?
And your point is? Oh wait. Let me guess. The Angels should trade Trout and Ohtani because it's what's "best for baseball". And trading them to your team for absolutely nothing is what is truly what is truly best for baseball.

trade ohtani.

Guess we can expect to see Ohtani in Dodger blue.

This team don’t deserve trout or ohtani

Ohtani is gonna be screaming "LET ME OUT, FOR THE LOVE OF BUDDHA!!!!!!"
— Jon Dekay (@jondekay) July 30, 2022
He should trade Trout and Ohtani to the Mets so a new owner doesn’t have to deal with two albatross contracts imo

While some think that selling the team is the right decision made by Moreno.
I hope he sells soon
