New York Yankees scored another victory over the San Francisco Giants on April 2nd, defeating them 6-0. It was a glorious game, with some amazing moves. Giancarlo Stanton left the stadium, not to mention his teammates, stunned by a center field home run. It measured 485 feet and was the second-longest homer of Stanton’s career, at least in the Statcast era. Anthony Volpe stole a base yet again, making history as only one of five players to have stolen a base in their first three MLB games since 1901. But the audience was cheering even before the players stepped on the field.
The Yankees vs Giants game got a very special visit from someone that sang the national anthem before the game started. April 2 was not just the date of a baseball game, it celebrated World Autism Day too.

Back in 2021, Donn sang the national anthem at a Yankees game, receiving a standing ovation at the end. Not only that, but he also sang “God Bless America” at Citi Field during the seventh-inning stretch of a Mets game. He’s quite the talent!
