The complete 2023 hall of fame votes has been out for a few hours now, according to mlb.com. It?s confirmed that Scott Rolen is a Hall of Famer now.

Rolen had been a great player in his time, but Twitter does not agree that he deserved to be in the Hall of Fame more than some of the other players. While some are happy with the decision, some expressed their anger towards this decision.

Scott Rolen stands alone in the place of baseball immortality as the only player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on the voting ballot. His 76.3% vote tally was more than enough to secure his place among the game?s greats. He was also the only player to surpass the 75% threshold required for selection.?

Meanwhile, Fred McGriff?s outstanding career had been recognized by the Hall of Fame?s Contemporary Era Committee, as they voted him into Cooperstown with a unanimous 16 out of 16 votes, a few weeks back.

He was the only player out of the eight on the Contemporary Era ballot to earn the honor. While Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and Curt Schilling fell short of the 12 votes needed for induction.
