Aaron Judge is the most recent member of the New York Yankees to hold the title of captain after Derek Jeter retired in 2014. Although no one with a celebrity status is safe from negative comments, Judge has been a beloved slugger. He broke the AL record for most home runs in a season in 2022, previously held by Roger Maris. And with the number of achievements and accolades he has won, fans adore the 30-year-old.

This fact was recently made even clearer as fans chanted for the Yank in public. The All-Star is frequently seen out at games for different sports where he is recognized by people. And this time, it was a concert for popular rapper Drake that had people expressing their admiration of Judge very loudly.

Drake recently made an appearance at the Appollo theatre in New York City, where the outfielder was also in attendance. Judge was standing with his wife Samantha on the upper deck, when he was spotted by fans who started crying out, “Let’s go Yankees.” The slugger looked a little embarrassed while at the same time asking the crowd to chant louder.

When Talkin’ Yanks posted the clip on Twitter, fans had some mixed reactions.

Some users who aren’t big listeners of Drake’s music questioned Judge’s taste in music, but he mostly had positive reactions from people.

Fifteen minutes later, it was announced that no one was hurt and that the show would continue. Drake resumed the concert by introducing 21 Savage, an Atlanta-based rapper.
