What started off as a rather forgettable month for the New York Yankees, quickly transformed into a month to never forget. And the Yankees’ senior players and stars have carried the team right through, whether it’s Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, Gerrit Cole, or even Harrison Bader. Everyone has been impressive. After a rough start and excessive fan humiliation, the Yankees are now back in the mix, and carrying the Pinstripes’ energy.

The Yankees were hurt by injuries and under-par performances, but they fought through as a group and are currently holding the best May record in the entire MLB.

As reported by Talkin’ Yanks, after sweeping Cincinnati last evening, the Pinstripes have now 14 games in May and lost only six. Their 14-6 record is the best in MLB right now.

The Yankees month started after the Bronx Bombers lost 15-2 against the Texas Rangers, and went on to lose another series against the Tampa Bay Rays. At that moment, the Pinstripes slid to the bottom of the AL East. But as the month progressed, they beat the Guardians, Athletics, Blue Jays, and Reds, and split with the Rays. The Yanks are now third in AL East and are consistently climbing up.

We’ve got some guys out. I’m excited by how well this team is competing. Walk in with edge, prepare and compete. They’re doing that at a high level right now.”
