The legendary Yankee, Derek Jeter, got married to supermodel, Hannah Davis(Jeter), in 2016. They have been living happily together since then. Most importantly, they have gone on to give birth to three daughters. Their daughters are Bella Raine, Story Grey, and River Rose. Their eldest daughter, Bella, was born in 2017.?

Notably, Bella has been taking tennis lessons since she was a four-year-old. A matter that Jeter discussed in a recent interview. He has presented an honest review of his decision to send his daughter to learn tennis at this young age.?

The big confession by Derek Jeter?

A baseball legend, Derek Jeter has always been a sports fanatic. He has displayed a keen interest in sports other than baseball. Tennis is yet another sport that has held his attention for many years. Therefore, Jeter decided to send his eldest daughter Bella for tennis lessons.?

Speaking about his eldest daughter on the famous broadcaster Angie Martinez’s podcast, Jeter said, “My oldest was taking tennis lessons and she just turned five. So she was taking tennis lessons when she was four. Now, you can only keep the attention span for 15-20 minutes before she starts drawing on the court. Right? And we tell her one day, you’re ready to go to practice. She’s like, ‘I don’t wanna go to practice’.”?

Jeter added saying, “I said, ‘alright, if you don’t wanna play tennis, fine! We’ll find something else you wanna do.’ She said, ‘well, I don’t have to go to practice, because I already know how to play’. She’s four years old. I’m like, ‘this is my fault’.” ?

A brief note on Derek Jeter’s excellent career?

Jeter played MLB from 1995 to 2014 as the New York Yankees shortstop. Staying on as a Yankees loyalist, he became a 14-time All-Star player. Moreover, he also went on to win five World Series championships. Post-retirement, he fulfilled his dream of owning an MLB team, in 2017, by becoming the Miami Marlins’ joint-owner. Jeter also served as the Marlins CEO, until his resignation from the post in 2022.?
