Mike Trout has been one of the most consistent players in Major League Baseball over the last ten years. A 10-time All-Star, three-time League MVP, Rookie of the Year, and two-time All-Star MVP. Trout has one of the best resumes in MLB.
Had he played for a more competitive team like the New York Yankees, LA Dodgers, or Boston Red Sox, Trout would have also won the World Series, the only title missing from his trophy cabinet. But it does not change the fact that he is one of the best players in MLB right now.

Though Mike Trout is already a dominant player, he would have broken a couple more records had he played the last two seasons at his full capacity. Given his consistency from the plate, even Hollywood star Denzel Washington could not stop himself from praising the Angels’ slugger.
Denzel Washington referred to Mike Trout as Mickey Mantle
During the 2022 All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium, veteran actor Denzel Washington was also in the house. And when Denzel met Trout, he greeted him with a wonderful compliment. Per a video doing rounds on the internet, Denzel referred to Trout as the Yankees’ great Mickey Mantle.
“Oh man, this is Mickey Mantle?!,” said Denzel Washington. For those who might not know, Mickey Mantle was one of the greatest baseball players in MLB. During his 18 years of MLB career, Mantle played only for the New York Yankees.

A 7-time World Series winner, 3-time League MVP, and an MLB Hall of Famer, Mantle breathed his last in 1995.

Debuted in the 1951 season, the Yankees legend played his last game in 1968. He has also hit 536 home runs from the plate.
Will Trout ask the Angels for a trade?
Mike Trout has been playing for the angels for over a decade. And he is yet to win any major title in his MLB career. At 30, Trout still has at least 7-8 years left in his baseball career. But the thing is that he will be an Angel till the 2030 season. And if he wants to win something, Trout might want to leave his current team.
