New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox share one of the fiercest rivalries in the sporting world. Being a century-old rivalry, the two teams never liked each other. And when talking about the Red Sox v/s Yankees rivalry, who better than Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz to tell more about it?

Dating back almost a year back, the Red Sox legend trolled A-Rod by taking a hilarious dig at the New York Yankees. When talking about their career, Ortiz is slightly ahead of A-Rod. A three-time World Series winner, with a WS MVP, ALCS MVP, Home run Derby champ, and an MLB Hall of Famer Ortiz, has one of the most decorated careers in Major League Baseball.
Alex Rodriguez had no answer when Ortiz trolled him over the New York Yankees
Alex Rodriguez, along with his rival-turned-friend David Ortiz, sat for a chat with renowned MLB analyst, Ben Verlander. While talking to them, Verlander asked A-Rod and Ortiz to say something nice about their rival team.
Although Ortiz did not say anything wrong, the Red Sox legend owned A-Rod with his words. He complimented the Yankees for making him rich. ?I love them. They made me rich (with a laugh),? David Ortiz said.
On the other hand, A-Rod simply praised the iconic ?Sweet Caroline? song, which often gets played in Fenway Park. ?I like their song, ‘Sweet Caroline,? Alex Rodriguez responded.

Unlike Ortiz, A-Rod has not got his Hall of Fame induction. Notably, MLB found him guilty of using steroids to enhance his performance. Hence, the Yankees star got banned for a full season in 2014.
And that might be the main reason he has not got the honor despite having a successful career in Major League Baseball.
