Talking about the challenges faced while filming “The Captain,” Jeter said it was difficult to speak about himself for over 30-plus hours, while the Yankees legend also said it was a fresh experience for him.

“It was an awesome experience to go through this process with the documentary. Because I get a chance to reflect. And I have sat down and did 30-plus hours of interviews. I know you guys sit here and you talk all the time.”
“But sit down and try to speak about yourself for 30-plus hours. It’s difficult to do, and there’s a lot of stories that you forget about,” Jeter said to Desus Nice and The Kid Mero. So, it was a fun experience to go back and really reflect on my career.
