Aaron Judge is in a league of his own this season. He has been probably the most consistent player in the entire Major League Baseball this year. Recently, the New York Yankees star, smashed his 61st home run of the season and tied the single-season home run record in the American League.

Considering Judge’s great season, renowned celebrity boxer, Jake Paul, who also happens to be a Youtuber, congratulated Judge for his massive achievement. However, while doing so, he also took a dig at Barry Bonds, and Mark McGwire.

Jake Paul considers Aaron Judge as the true home run champ

Just a couple of days ago, Jake uploaded a YouTube video and congratulated Judge for smashing 60 home runs this season. The Youtuber-turned-boxer, also sent his regards to MLB veteran, Albert Pujols, who smashed his 700th career home run.

But the main highlight of the video was when Jake said that, unlike other MLB greats, Judge achieved this milestone without using any performance enhancing substances.

“A legend of the sport. Congratulations, Albert! … In my opinion, Aaron Judge is the true champ since he did it without steroids and did it clean,” Jake said. “That’s how this whole thing should be judged. It does not make sense to have people on the list who hold the record but were doing steroids.”

Notably, Barry Bonds (72), and Mark McGwire (70), are still at the top. But since they allegedly used steroids, almost no one considers them a true record-holder.

Can Judge guide the New York Yankees to the championship?

As things stand, the Dodgers and Astros are favorites for the World Series title this year. And considering their impeccable record, one of them might end up winning the same.
